Meet Tali
Tali Dolsten-Kuhel is a mindfulness consultant and therapist-in-training. Tali holds an MSW from the University of Michigan and is pursuing New York LMSW licensure in early 2026.
As an independent speaker and consultant to teams and academic settings, Tali has helped develop a culture of mindfulness at Columbia University Climate School. She has also been invited to speak as a panelist on life transitions and LGBTQ+ identity at Tulane University.
Tali has experience providing 1:1 counseling and group support to LGBTQ+ young adults under supervision and received training in CBT for LGBTQ+ stress from Yale's mental health initiative.
Before building a career in mental health, Tali had nearly a decade of previous UX and AI design experience for Capital One, Indeed, and a few social impact startups, which provided transferrable skills in UX design, marketing, communication and business strategy.
Workshop Offerings
Introduce your team to the basic principles of mindfulness beyond meditation through an interactive and restorative session.
Topics include research from Dr. Dan Siegel, Dr. Kristen Neff, Dr. Laurie Santos, Sheryl Lisa Finn M.A., and other evidence informed leading insights in mental health.
Together, we will tackle the differences between meditation, mindlessness and mindfulness. Then, explore ways of incorporating mindfulness into daily life. And finally, discuss what it practically means to cultivate compassion in work, life and beyond.
Learn about evidence informed practices that can fit into the everyday through an interactive and calming session.
Let’s gather to explore three pillars of mindful activities. Connecting to breath, connecting to nature and connecting to community. These skills are rooted in science, spirit and community and we’ll gather together to evaluate the latest scientific findings and reflect on how to weave them into daily life.
A session with techniques for practicing mindful leadership and how to approach work relationships through the lens of mindfulness. Example sources of research include findings from Daniel Goleman, Dr. Marty Linsky, Ronald Heifetz, Brene Brown, and Dr. Susan David.
Participants will engage in mindfulness core concepts and rituals to set the stage for increased self awareness and more actions that align with personal and team values and goals.
